CompAccess was created in 2006 with a different view of the national Workers’ Compensation PPO landscape. Instead of building another national WC PPO with the same 350,000 providers offering with the same nominal discount, CompAccess felt there is a place in the market for an Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO), which targeted for network inclusion the best workers’ compensation providers at a higher discount. The concept is simple - we wanted the best providers with an emphasis of quality over quantity.

CompAccess was never intended to be a replacement for your national or generalist network. It can be used, however, as a network added to your national solution.

Since that time, we have targeted the top 150 providers in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Missouri. All providers go through an extensive credentialing process, and in return for the direct steerage, these providers have contracted for the highest discount in the industry.
